National Ag Day 2022

National Agriculture Day in 2022 is Friday 18th November and this year Kids to Farms will be hosting a National Ag Week roadshow! In 2022, from Monday 14th to Friday 18th November, Kids to Farms will hold workshops, presentations from farmers, or other interactive events for primary schools across NSW, at no cost to the school or its students.

Students will learn all about where their food and fibre comes from, and why agriculture is so important on a local, national and global scale. Workshops and presentations can be tailored to local industries, or what students are learning about in the classroom, and can be delivered to single classes or whole schools.

    Please Note: The National Ag Day Roadshow will be taking place from Monday 14th - Friday 18th November, however, if interest is high we may visit your school outside these dates. School excursions and incursions can be booked for any time of the year using the bookings tab at the top of the page.

    Kids to Farms colouring in

    We will once again be running our popular colouring-in competition. All NSW primary school students are eligible to enter to have the chance to win a Garden Starter Kit for their class! One entry from K-3 and one from 4-6 will be chosen and the winners announced on National Ag Day.

    Send a photo of your students’ finished sheets to and we can share it on our Instagram page @kidstofarms_nsw

    All students who send in their colouring in will receive a Kids to Farms water bottle or sunscreen to use when they’re out in the garden.
