A true paddock-to-plate experience, Bidgee Strawberries and Cream is a 14-hectare hydroponic strawberry farm that puts sustainability and quality produce first.
Only 5 minutes from the heart of Wagga Wagga, Bidgee Strawberries and Cream will teach your students all about hydroponic strawberry production. After a tour of the plantation and the fertigation shed, students will have a chance to pick their own strawberries! There are also some friendly sheep (or are they goats…?) and some bee hives, as well as an Aboriginal scar tree.
