Southview Orchard is a peach and nectarine orchard located in Northern NSW, just 30 minutes from the town of Casino. John and Frieda are passionate about helping students learn more about their industry, and showing them how to produce fresh juicy fruit! Southview Orchard hosts a ‘Peach Festival’ every year where people can come and pick their own fruit.

  • Price: No fee for farm tour, however fee to pick peaches is $6 a kilo
  • Group size: Southview Orchard can host small and large groups, as long as the school provides adequate supervision
  • Visiting times: You can visit anytime, however August through to November is the most interesting times to visit
  • Farm activities: Walk through the orchard and learn about peach growing, help John and Frieda thin a peach tree and learn about fruit tree pruning, pick your own fruit straight from the tree!
